The third annual Trevor Garwood-Jones Golf Classic tees off at the Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Registration and lunch takes place at 11:30 a.m., followed by a shot-gun start at 1 p.m. and dinner at 6:30p.m.

Admission of $200 per person includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, dinner and gifts. Dinner without golf is $50.

Three-time Canadian Women’s Long Drive Champion Fareen Samji will once again be on the greens demonstrating her incredible skills. Born and raised in Kenya, Samji immigrated to Canada in 1988 to pursue higher education. While studying at McMaster University, she played on the varsity women’s tennis team and only played golf in the summer months. Even as a recreational golfer, she carried a five handicap and her power drives off the tee were her strength. Her home club is Dundas Valley.
